With over 30 years of experience in the credit union industry, Benita Harp has held key leadership roles, including President/CEO, interim CEO, and Chief Strategy Officer. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Healthcare Credit Union Association, she also works as a fractional leader, bringing strategic insights and transformative leadership to financial institutions.
Throughout her career, Benita has navigated every facet of credit union lending, operations, training, IT, and HR, always fostering a culture of collaboration under the belief that together, nothing is impossible.
Recognized as “The Great Gardener” for her ability to listen deeply and help others not just survive but thrive where they are planted, Benita is passionate about engaging with credit union Boards and Executive Management to strengthen relationships and enhance strategic understanding.
