About NCOFCUThe National Council of Firefighters Credit Unions, Inc. (NCOFCU) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 professional credit union association, incorporated in the State of Florida, serving firefighters, first responders and their families. Credit unions serving firefighters and first responders have been meeting annually since 2001. Our members represent credit unions serving firefighters and first responders from across the country. At present, there are over 100 firefighter credit unions, representing over $18 billion in assets and 800,000 members throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Governing documents, including all relevant policies, and the most recent form 990 informational return for the organization are made available to the public through the organization’s
website. The organization’s annual audited financial statements and other financial and governance information are available to donors and stakeholders upon request, as directed by the organization’s website.
